WHOOHOO!!!! lol....ok i shall blog about my trip in turkey... DAY ONE! hahahaha took the plane from singapore....hmmm on first dec... yeah..... it...was around 11pm...sing time... felt damn sad getting on to the plane...hahaha i never liked the airplane smell.....the plane went to bangkok...a rather boring flight...slept all the way... then another 10 hours or so to istanbul, a city in turkey, whichs spans two continents, asia and europe. Quite cool.. hahah....the weather there was wintertime....very nice and cool at first. hahah... DAY TWO hahahaha got on the tour bus... and we sorta drove around.... theres quite a lot of four storey flats in istanbul.....even though they have a huge amout of land.... theres a lot of seagulls here....and the trees are all looking pretty with autumnal garments... hahaha.....i went to two mosques....one was the blue mosque, which was really nice.... turkish architechture is very nice...and they have this special tower thingys called minarets, every mosque in turkey has some, and its up to four of these things...the blue mosque had 6, cause in the turkish language the number six and gold sound very similar, and when the sultan told the architect to build gold minarets, he built 6 instead....and got executed right in front of the mosque in the courtyard for it. poor guy. hahaha.... the other mosque was called st sophia, and was used as a church first, then converted into a mosque, and now is a museam.. hmm....after the mosques...went to some cool palace sitting beside the straits seperating the asian and the european continent.... it was a damn nice view...... really really nice. after that....i think we went to some restaurant for lunch, then drove to another city...dunno what name.. the scenery was really nice.... hilly and misty....and really cold too. haha... we crossed some ferry thing, which ferried the bus over to the asian side...and drove some more.... boring... then we reached some crummy hotel... hahaha not that bad lah...but not superb either....saw the horses from the two movies made about troy...apparently they buy the horses everytime someone makes a movie hahaha.... DAY THREE hahaha now after breakfast and all we went to the actual city of troy, with all the ruins and all....it was ok i guess....ahahah but like any normal ruin.....all boring fat stones lying about....lol....this day after that is quite boring...more driving around...hahahah and after lunch we went to some city called acropolis.. from the name you can tell the city is damn high. hahahahaha it is DAMN HIGH! wah......and its another ruin...but the view from the top was breathtaking......and the only problem was there wasnt much of a railing to keep you freefalling down to your death about....500m down? damn far. lolx.. the sky turns dark really quickly...since its winter...lol....so....it makes our schedule sad.. and the next hotel we were at was sad....hahahaha..... cause of trying to make more money, they confiscate your water, then make you pay for their water. damn gay.. lol... lol.. i forsee a long entry. so i shall edit this tommorrow. hahaha.... and yay!!! im back! whoohoo.
